Easter thoughts: Day 2 – Judas

If you’re familiar with the Easter story, you’ll probably recall how one of Jesus’ disciples stood out for the wrong reason — and that was Judas, who betrayed Him. So well had he hidden his wicked intent, that none of the disciples suspected Judas, even when Jesus said that one of them would betray Him. But the intent and thoughts of Judas’ heart were no secret to Jesus, who was not taken by surprise by His actions either.

Now, something that should sit on our minds, is that God also knows the thoughts and intents of our hearts, that like Judas, we are not as good and selfless and generous as we make ourselves out to be, and in fact are also deserving of God’s punishment. However, because of Jesus’ death in our place, the innocent for the guilty, we can be forgiven of all we have ever done.

This Easter, come and find out more about what this amazing news means for you.
