Proverbs 10:1-11:31

This study is part of our series of verse by verse studies of Proverbs, the 20th book in the Bible. Taught by Sim Forder, one of our pastors, at our Sunday morning service on the 3rd October 2021. You can watch or listen on this web page or save the audio for later listening.

Summary of this study

In these chapters, which begin the second section of Proverbs, and we often see one thought coupled with another – two ideals in parallel. At times, we see clear links between consecutive verses, while at other times it will seem quite random – but that’s just like life, for we seldom have to deal with one matter at a time, or in the order we wish. Themes that emerge from these chapters include effort, legacy, reward, our words, the handling of money and roots & shoots – what reap what we sow.
