About this series

Our God is not unknowable, or evasive. In fact, He wants us to know Him. He wants us to know what He is like. He has revealed Himself to us, and has given us His Word. So what is God like? That’s the question we’re going to answer in part. In part, because we’re going to look at just 7 of God’s attributes. But by the end of this series, we will hopefully have a better understanding of who He is, and, what He is like.

About this study

God’s holiness is the attribute that is emphasised before the throne, where the words “Holy, Holy, Holy” are sung. Yet, holiness is not something that can be quantified. But without doubt, God calls us to be Holy – just as He is holy. But how far apart from this world to we need to be to be holy? The answer is that we are God’s representatives, His ambassadors. So we are not to go where He would not go Himself. And we are not to try and test God in the way a child sees how much they can get away with.
