During this study we considered the nature of the Holy Spirit – He is more than merely a person. He is God. And He always points to Jesus… He;

• Regenerates and renews us in Christ
• Baptises us for serving Christ
• Places us in the body of Christ
• Is the seal of our Salvation in Christ
• He sanctifies us, making us more like Christ
• He convicts when we are not like Christ
• He confirms we are children of God – joint heirs with Christ!
• He helps us live for Christ
• He guides us into all truth about Christ
• He gives gifts for the benefit of the Bride of Christ 
• He glorifies Christ

And as we are told in Luke 11:13, we can ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to empower us for service of Christ our Saviour:

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!
