Summary of this study

Death is something that affects us all, yet it is not always predictable, and it is never easy – we are not wired to deal with it emotionally. So why does death exist? What happens when we die? And when does it end? Ultimately our hope is not found in this world and the temporary comforts it provides – but in Jesus, and what we have to look forward to in Him:

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Series overview: The big areas of our lives

During this series we’ll take a look at 11 topics – one each week – that affect us, our families, our friends, and our church family. We’ll be looking at what the Bible has to say about Education, Career, Finances, Time, Friendships, Singleness & relationships, Marriage, Children, Health & illness, Death, and Church.

Why look at these topics? Well, God has given us everything we need for every area of our lives, so that we know how we should live and conduct ourselves in these areas, our foundation for this series being the first 4 verses of 2 Peter chapter one…
