Christmas can bring it’s share of disappointment — whether it’s a lack of snow on Christmas day, the Turkey isn’t quite as you hoped, or you’ve been bought socks as a gift. Again. But there’s something we can have that will never disappoint us — and that is the hope we can have in God.

The Bible says because Jesus died in our place (that we might be seen as innocent), we now have peace with God, and we have hope in Him. And that hope won’t be in vain — for everyone who puts their faith and trust in Jesus as their Saviour, is assured of an eternity in Heaven with Him, where we’ll never have a disappointing day. There will be no more pain, or sickness or death. And maybe no more socks as gifts.
