How many wise men were there? 3? Well, that’s what many people think, because that’s what tradition tells us. But the only thing the Bible tells us there were three of were gifts, and so assume that because there were three types of gifts, there were no more and no less than 3 wise men, is like assuming that I only got Christmas presents from three people because I told you I got socks, chocolate and money for Christmas. The thing is, we jump to conclusions easily. So, could it be that you’ve jumped to the wrong conclusion of who Jesus is? Don’t leave your understanding of Him to what you heard at school, or saw on TV. But rather, this Christmas, come and find out who Jesus really is!
