2 Corinthians 4:7-5:21

This study is part of our series of verse by verse studies of 2 Corinthians, the 47th book in the Bible. Taught by Sim Forder, one of our pastors, at our Sunday evening service on the 27th February 2022. You can watch or listen on this web page or save the audio for later listening.

Summary of this study

In this passage, which contains many famous verses, Paul directs the glory to God. Next he describes his current trials as light affliction – how? Because this world was not his home. Neither is it our home, and he therefore teaches us all to see our earthly bodies for what they are – temporary dwellings. And given the temporary nature of our early lives, and that we have eternity to look forward to with Jesus, we should be living to please Him here now.
