Summary of this study

In this chapter, John continues to build confidence in what we believe, stating that we can know we have eternal life. Further, through our restored relationship with our Heavenly Father, we can pray with confidence that He will hear us, so long as we pray according to His will. But he also reminds us to keep God’s commandments, and keep ourselves from idols – indeed both are evidence of our love for Him.
