Joseph was engaged to be married to Mary, when the news came that she was pregnant. And He had a choice — listen to those around him, who would undoubtedly told him to get out of that situation, or listen to God. And in a step of faith, He listened to God who told him “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”

The question that leaves you and I, is whether we’ll listen to those who will tell us to run from what God has done, or whether we’ll listen to Jesus, who along is able to save us from all the wrong we have done.
