After meeting Simeon in the Temple at Jerusalem Another person Joseph, Mary and Jesus met was a prophetess by the name of Anna who served God there with fastings and prayers night and day, and recognising who Jesus was, she instantly gave thanks to God for sending a Saviour, and spoke of Him to all those who were looking for a way for their relationship to be made right with God.

And then after seeing Simeon and Anna and having done all things required of them according to the law of the Lord, Joseph, Mary and Jesus headed on home to Nazareth (according to Luke 2 verse 39) where the Wise Men would visit in the house up to two years later. But what is our response? Do we give thanks like Anna? Do we speak of Jesus to all we know? Let us be as excited about it as Anna was.
