This study is part of our series of verse by verse studies of 2 Corinthians, the 47th book in the Bible. Taught by Sim Forder, one of our pastors, at our Sunday evening service on the 27th March 2022. You can watch or listen on this web page or save the audio for later listening.
Summary of this study
In these final 4 chapters of this letter, Paul defends his apostleship, and starts in this chapter by explaining that his authority is only that which God has given, for His purposes, for the benefit and not destruction of the Corinthian church. He then warns them of the need to be battle ready in the realm of spiritual warfare, to consider what is said by someone with no regard for their physical traits, and that in the end, what God thinks and knows of us is what is important – not man’s opinion.
