This November, come and discover what the Bible is all about. Over 4 sessions our pastor and elders will teach the key points of the whole Bible, answering common questions and explaining how it all fits together. Most importantly, we’ll look at what the Bible means for us today.
Tea, coffee & refreshments will be provided free of charge throughout the day, but you’ll need to bring your own lunch.
You can find DCF easily at the end of Sutherland Road, not far from the Fire Station, Esso Garage or Greggs on London Road. You’re also welcome to come along to any of our services, and if you’d like to find out more about us click here.

More about The Big Picture
In a world where it is hard to know what the truth is, the Bible claims to be exactly that – the truth. But what does it say? Perhaps at some point you’ve wondered what the Bible is all about, or how it all fits together. Perhaps you’ve wondered what the point is of all the history or prophets that is contains, or why there are so many letters to churches and people found within it. Well, if any of those things are the case for you, then this one-day event is a great opportunity to have some of your questions answered.
Over 4 short sessions we will give an overview of the Bible from start to finish, with plenty of tea, coffee (and almost certainly some cake) which should be of benefit to both the seasoned believer and those who have never read the Bible at all. Ultimately, we’ll show just some of the wonder of this incredible book, that we believe is the most important book ever written.
The New Testament is the very best book that ever was or ever will be known in the world.
Charles Dickens
The Bible has a way of putting more in a single sentence than other writers can put in a whole book. Yet there are some who would tell us that the Bible is no more God’s book than other books. Either they have not read the Bible, or they have read it with their eyes closed.
RA Torrey
England is a nation of two books. Shakespeare and the Bible. England made Shakespeare, but the Bible made England.

I know of no better way of knowing anything than by God’s Word. I would believe God’s Word before my feelings any day.
RA Torrey
The Bible is not man's word about God, but God’s Word to man.

Will put the date in my diary. I hope many people will come to faith in Jesus. And those who are already believers will mature in their faith! Blessings in Jesus. Alex
