Every other Wednesday during term time, the men at DCF meet together in the Mayflower room from 8:00pm until approx. 9:30pm.
Roughly twice a month the men at DCF meet together to look at a topic and how it relates to us, and most importantly look to see what the Bible has to say. The study is led by Pete Smith (one of our Elders), and the meetings are informal in nature and a great opportunity for everyone to contribute and discuss the topic in hand. The Bible has so much to say about how we should live as men, so there is never a shortage of discussion, and as such these evenings can be a real source of encouragement to each other.
From September 2021, it will also be possible for anyone in our church family to join our men’s Bible studies online using Microsoft Teams, allowing those that are ill, isolating to protect themselves or others, or that live away during the week to join. Further details are available from our pastor and elders.
But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; Titus 2:1-2
Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you. Titus 2:6-8
