On the last Thursday before Easter we meet to remember what Jesus has done for us through the act of communion.
We celebrate the communion just as Jesus told us to do, to remember Him and what he has done for us in dying in our place on the cross. Anyone who is a Christian is welcome to celebrate with us – we don’t have a church membership, a process or piece of paper you need to sign to be able to do this – though the Bible does warn that it should be done sincerely and with a right heart toward God.
At this special communion service we will begin and end with a short time of sung worship, before our pastor leads us into the time of communion, by speaking about Jesus sacrifice for us. We will also have a time of prayer, to specifically thank Jesus for all He has accomplished for us on the cross.
