Baptisms – July 2016

Something Jesus told Christians to do was to be baptised, not to earn their way to Heaven, but rather to identify themselves with His death and resurrection – and to show outwardly the change that has gone on in the inside of them as they have become a Christian.

In many ways baptism as an adult is a public statement that someone has become a Christian – that they recognise what Jesus has done for them, and that they are not ashamed to say that publicly.

Join us for an exciting evening as Eilish, Jo, Suzy and Matt are baptised at DCF.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
– Galatians 2:20
